At Texas Bee LLC, we believe that great harvests aren’t just grown; they are engineered through persistence and a deep respect for the Texas landscape. What started as a vision for sustainable land use has blossomed into a multi-faceted agricultural operation dedicated to high-quality produce and hardy nursery starts.
Our Story: From Clay to Cultivation
Located in the heart of Zone 8b, our journey began with 2.15 acres of raw Texas land. We didn't just want to grow a garden; we wanted to build an ecosystem.
Faced with the dual challenges of heavy clay soil and hungry local wildlife, we’ve had to get creative with our homesteading methods. Our primary hurdle? Keeping deer, rabbits, skunks, and armadillos away from our tomatoes, brussels sprouts, and strawberries.
Our solution is "The Gardenhouse"—a 10' x 33' enclosed run designed to shield our most prized crops from the critters that love them just as much as we do!
What We Do
Through our consumer brand, Texas Bee Gardens, we focus on three core pillars:
Specialty Produce: We specialize in high-demand, nutrient-dense crops, with a particular focus on acid-loving berries and heirloom tomatoes.
Nursery & Starts: We help other growers succeed by providing strawberries plants, Cherokee Purple Tomatoes, and other seasonal starts hardened for the Texas climate.
Intentional Stewardship: Every square foot of our acreage is managed with the future in mind, ensuring our soil stays fertile and our local pollinators stay busy.
