About Texas Bee
Our Story: Small on Purpose, Slow on Purpose
Welcome to Texas Bee. We believe the best things in life aren't rushed—they are gathered, nurtured, and crafted by hand with a deep respect for the Texas landscape. What started as 2.15 acres of raw clay in Central Texas has blossomed into a thriving family homestead. We didn't just want to build a garden; we wanted to cultivate a mindful, sustainable ecosystem where every single ingredient tells a story. Texas Bee is small on purpose and slow on purpose. Everything we offer—from our small-batch apothecary goods infused with homegrown botanicals to our artisanal, honey-inspired bakery treats—is crafted right here by our family to be enjoyed by yours.
What We Do
Our journey began with a challenge that every Texas grower knows all too well: heavy, stubborn clay and a neighborhood full of curious deer, rabbits, and armadillos. Rather than fighting nature, we got creative. We choose a high-intervention strategy, never planting directly into the native clay. Instead, we start our heirloom tomatoes, berries, and functional herbs from seed inside our Greenhouse, giving them the dedicated care they need to handle the rugged climate.
To protect our hard work, we built the Gardenhouse—a custom-enclosed raised bed sanctuary built entirely with premium, custom-blended landscape materials. It keeps the local wildlife out and allows our heritage crops to flourish safely.
