Strawberry Jam | Home-Grown & Hand-Pressed
The Purest Taste of Texas Summer Our Strawberry Jam is a vibrant, ruby-red tribute to the peak of the harvest. We start with two pounds of luscious, vine-ripened strawberries—many of which are grown right here in our Texas Bee Gardens—and simmer them slowly with just enough sugar and a splash of lemon to reach a perfect, thick consistency.
Unlike mass-produced preserves, our recipe is simple and honest: no added pectin, no high-fructose corn syrup, and no artificial flavors. Each jar is hand-pressed in small batches to preserve the deep, natural sweetness and texture of the fruit.
Ways to Enjoy:
- The Classic: Generously spread over warm English muffins or buttery sourdough.
- Elevated Pairing: A perfect companion for sharp cheddar or creamy goat cheese on a charcuterie board.
- Sweet Treats: Swirl into morning yogurt or use as a vibrant filling for thumbprint cookies.
Ingredients: Fresh Strawberries, Sugar, & Lemon Juice.

Operations & Sustainability
How do you ensure your products are "naturally grown"?
We follow strict holistic management practices. This means no synthetic pesticides or herbicides are used on our 2.15 acres. We focus on soil health using natural amendments like mushroom compost and organic minerals to ensure our plants—and the bees that forage on them—thrive in a clean environment.
What is a "Gardenhouse," and why do you use it?
Our Gardenhouse is a custom-built, enclosed growing space designed to protect our most delicate heirloom produce from local wildlife like deer and rabbits. This allows us to grow high-quality Cherokee Purple tomatoes and Albion strawberries without the need for chemical deterrents.
Are your honey-based products seasonally available?
Yes. Because we practice ethical, small-batch beekeeping, our inventory depends on what the bees can spare. We never over-harvest, ensuring the colony has enough for winter. If a specific salve or soap is out of stock, it’s usually because we are waiting for the next natural cycle of the hive.
Product Care & Usage
How should I store my artisanal salves and soaps?
Because our products are made with natural waxes and oils without synthetic stabilizers, they are best kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If a salve softens in the Texas heat, simply pop it in the fridge for a few minutes to firm it back up.
Are your plants hardened off and ready for transplanting?
Absolutely. All plants sold by Texas Bee Gardens are acclimated to our specific Central Texas climate (Zone 8b). We take the guesswork out of gardening by ensuring our starts are strong enough to handle the transition to your home garden.
Do you offer refills on your apothecary jars?
We are committed to a low-waste lifestyle! Keep your glass jars and tins—we are currently developing a "Return & Reuse" program for our local market customers. Stay tuned for details at our next market booth.
Ordering & Logistics
Do you offer farm pickups?
To maintain the biosecurity of our apiary and the privacy of our homestead, we do not currently offer on-site pickups. However, we offer free local delivery to specified zones including Bremond, Waco, and College Station on set days.
Can I place a custom order for an event?
We love being part of your special moments. Whether it’s small-batch soaps for a wedding or customized gift baskets, please reach out via our contact form at least 4–6 weeks in advance so we can ensure your items are cured and ready.
